The Lantronix C6110-1040 is an ION DS1 managed T1/E1/J1 mux media converter module. It extends multiple T1/E1/J1 connections over fiber with four RJ-48 copper interfaces and one SFP fiber interface. The module provides loopback via test set, local and remote loopbacks, LEDs for device status and troubleshooting, and settings for line code, line build out, loopbacks and Alarm Indication Signal (AIS). The C6110-1040 supports access to complete status and configuration on the local and remote device, plus remote firmware upgrade and remote management. The C6110 converter must be used in pairs; a typical installation uses a modular card in a managed ION chassis linked over fiber to a stand-alone S6110 in a remote location.
