The Lantronix ION C3110-1039 is a C3110 Series Gigabit Ethernet media converter module for 1000Base-T copper to 1000Base-SX multimode fiber conversion. This SKU uses 1000Base-T (RJ-45) on the copper side and 1000Base-SX 850nm multimode (LC) via SFP on the fiber side. The ION C3110 operates at Layer 1, the physical layer, and passes data through the converter at line speed. It supports Copper and Fiber Auto-Negotiation, Auto-MDI/MDIX on the TP port, Transparent Link Pass Through, Remote Fault Detect, Loopback, Pause and Automatic Link Restoration. The module is manageable when installed in a managed ION chassis. Manageable features are available when used in an ION Platform chassis along with an ION Management Module.
