The Lantronix E-100BTX-FX-06(SMLC)-NA is a stand-alone Fast Ethernet media converter for 100Base-TX to 100Base-FX networks. It provides an interface between 100Base-TX RJ-45 copper ports and 100Base-FX 1310nm single-mode LC fiber ports. Operating at Layer 1, the physical layer, data is passed through the converter at line speed. The series is designed for low-latency applications and supports Auto-negotiation, Auto-MDI/MDIX, Active Link Pass Through, Far-End-Fault (FEF), Pause, and automatic link restoration. This SKU is the single-mode LC model in the E-100BTX Series. The part row lists 20 km/12.4 mi. fiber distance and a 17.3 dB link budget.
