The Lantronix EDS4100 is an enterprise-grade device server for securely integrating edge equipment into a network. It combines Ethernet terminal server and multiport device server functions in a four-port configuration. ED41000P2-01 provides 4 x DB9M serial connectors, with 2 x RS232 and 2 x RS232/422/485, plus 10Base-T/100Base-T Ethernet on RJ45. It supports Power over Ethernet and flexible DC input through barrel and screw-terminal connections. The EDS4100 runs Evolution OS and supports a Cisco-like CLI, XML, RSS and a built-in web server. Security options include SSL v3, SSH v2, AES 128-bit encryption, 3DES encryption, RC4 128-bit encryption, password protection and IP filtering. This international SKU includes a 100-240 VAC International power supply with regional adapters, a CD with the User Guide and software utilities, and a Quick Start Guide.
