Lantronix EDS2100 is a two-port secure device server in the EDS1100 / EDS2100 series. It connects serial devices to Ethernet for remote access to and management of IT/networking equipment or edge devices such as medical equipment, POS terminals or security equipment. It supports software selectable RS232, RS422 or RS485 modes, including 2- and 4-wire configurations, through 2 x DB9M (DTE) serial connectors. The network interface supports 10BaseT and 100Base-TX Link. Security and management are built into Evolution OS, with SSL v3, SSH v2 Client & Server, AES, 3DES and RC4 encryption, and authentication options including SHA-1, MD5 and Base-64 User Access Lists. Setup and management options include Internal Web Manager, CLI, XML Configuration Records, DeviceInstaller software and SNMP. This ED2100002-01 configuration is listed with a 100-240 VAC International power supply and RoHS.
