Lantronix EMG8500 Edge Management Gateway 4-Port RS-232 LTE

Lantronix EMG 8500 is an Edge Management Gateway for branch offices, remote locations, retail stores and other offsite locations where space is limited. EMG851010S is the RS-232 serial 4-port, LTE cellular configuration. The EMG provides remote access to IT equipment through Telnet/SSH or a web browser-based console client without proprietary software. Any IT asset that provides console or serial port management services can be managed remotely and locally. An integrated automatic fail-over/fail-back mechanism allows users to connect to network equipment when the primary network connection is congested or unresponsive. The EMG can fail-over to a cellular 4G/LTE connection with services such as Private APN, VPN access, and public or private IP addressing. Percepxion for Networking provides centralized management and automated monitoring with real-time notifications. Security features include packet filtering firewall functions, NIST-certified implementation of AES as specified by FIPS-197, and FIPS 140-2 compliant cryptography Certificate #2398.
