The Lantronix SLC 8000 I/O Module enables system and network administrators to expand or switch out an SLC 8000 unit’s I/O configuration without replacing the entire console server. FRRJ451601 provides 16 x RJ-45 Serial RS-232 interfaces for data networking. Lantronix lists it as a Device Port Module in the Field Replaceable Device Modules group. Once installed, the I/O module is automatically detected by the SLC 8000, supporting quick I/O replacement for SLC 8000 device ports.
