The Lantronix EMG 8500 is an Edge Management Gateway for branch offices, remote locations, retail stores and other sites where an offsite network device gateway is needed and space is limited. EMG851020S is configured with RS-232 serial 4-port access and LTE APAC cellular. The EMG can fail-over to a cellular 4G/LTE connection when the primary network connection is congested or unresponsive. Administrators can access EMG device ports via Telnet/SSH or a web browser-based console client without proprietary software. The EMG includes firewall features, NIST-certified AES encryption and compatibility with Percepxion for Networking for centralized management and automated monitoring.
