The Lantronix EMG 8500 Edge Management Gateway is built for branch offices, remote locations, retail stores and offsite network environments where space is limited. EMG851110S is the RS232 serial 8-port, LTE cellular configuration. The EMG 8500 supports Lights Out Management so administrators can connect, monitor, manage and repair servers by remote control. It provides remote troubleshooting, resilience and remediation for critical infrastructure in data centers, branch offices and remote sites. When the primary network connection is congested or unresponsive, the EMG can fail-over to a cellular 4G/LTE connection. Device access is available through Telnet/SSH or a web browser-based console client without proprietary software. Percepxion for Networking provides centralized management and automated monitoring for deployed Lantronix edge management gateways and connected IT equipment.
