Lantronix EMG8500 Edge Management Gateway

The Lantronix EMG 8500 Edge Management Gateway is built for branch offices, remote locations, retail stores and other sites where offsite network device access is needed and space is limited. EMG852020S is the USB 4-port, LTE APAC cellular configuration. The EMG 8500 supports Lights Out Management so administrators can connect, monitor, manage and repair servers by remote control. It provides remote access through Telnet/SSH or a web browser-based console client without proprietary software. An integrated automatic fail-over/fail-back mechanism helps users connect to network equipment when the primary network connection is congested or unresponsive. The EMG can fail over to a cellular 4G/LTE connection with services such as Private APN, VPN access, public IP addressing and private IP addressing. Percepxion for Networking provides centralized management and automated monitoring for deployed Lantronix edge management gateways and connected IT equipment, with real-time notifications and mobile access from iOS or Android platforms.
