Lantronix EOCPSE4020-110 is the Local device for the EOCPx Series Ethernet Over Coax Extender With PoE+. It connects to Ethernet network equipment through a 10/100/1000Base-T RJ-45 or 100/1000Base-X SFP Combo port and provides a 1000Base BNC coax connection to the Remote device. The EOCPx Series helps upgrade older analog surveillance systems with PoE powered IP video cameras without replacing the existing CCTV 75 ohm coax infrastructure. The extenders can also extend Ethernet networks over existing coax infrastructure in applications beyond surveillance. EOCPx extenders are used as a pair, with a Local device at one end and a Remote device at the other end of the coax cable. The Remote device receives power over coax through the BNC connection and provides Ethernet output with PoE+ power for IP cameras, wireless access points or other PoE powered end devices. A web GUI provides password-protected access to configuration options for both devices through a single IP address and supports firmware upgrades.
