Lantronix G528GP2FSGC — Global 5G Sub-6 IoT Security Gateway with PoE+, TAA

The Lantronix G528GP2FSGC is a rugged 5G cellular gateway for surveillance, industrial automation and remote sites where cameras, controllers and sensors need a secure, managed uplink. It is the global, TAA-compliant G528 in Lantronix's G520 Series security line. The modem covers 5G NR sub-6 bands n1, n2, n3, n5, n7, n8, n12, n20, n28, n38, n41, n66, n71, n78 and n79, with LTE Cat 20 downlink and Cat 13 uplink across 29 LTE bands and 3G fallback. Two mechanically secured mini-SIM holders provide dual SIM, single standby redundancy. On the local side there are two 10/100 Ethernet ports: one LAN and one WAN, which can be reassigned as a second LAN. Each LAN port supports PSE-PoE+ at up to 30 W when the gateway runs from a sufficiently powerful supply, so an IP camera can take power and data from the gateway itself. For wireless there is 2T2R Wi-Fi 5 on two RP-SMA connectors, working as a client or as an access point for about 12 users, with 802.11r support and Bluetooth/BLE 5.1. Field equipment connects through full RS-232 on a 9-pin sub-D, RS-485 on a 5-pin COMBICON header (sold separately), CANbus, USB 2.0 host, an ignition-sense pin and two configurable analogue/4-20 mA/digital I/Os. Security rests on Lantronix InfiniShield with a Microchip ATECC608 secure element, a zone-based firewall, VLAN, DMZ, HTTPS management and SIM PIN. For tunnels the gateway supports IPsec (up to 4 channels), OpenVPN, WireGuard, GRE, L2TP and PPTP. Ethernet, cellular and Wi-Fi can run as failover or load balancing. The gateway accepts 10.8-60 V DC and includes a last-gasp reserve of about 100 seconds. It is Percepxion ready for fleet updates, remote servicing and monitoring, and the G520 SDK supports custom Python or C/C++ packages.
