Lantronix S4110-4848-NA is a stand-alone fiber to fiber media converter for data rates from 1 Gbps to 11.5 Gbps. It is protocol independent and uses two open SFP+ slots for SFP to SFP or SFP+ to SFP+ configurations. Use it for any-rate to same-rate conversion, single mode to multimode conversion, or wavelength conversion in CWDM applications. Supported transmission distance is based on the SFP modules and fiber type used. The S4110-4848 supports 3R (Reamplify, Reshape, and Retime) signal regeneration and has no frame size limitations. It supports Ethernet 10Gig LAN, 10Gig WAN, and 1Gig LAN; Fiber Channel 10, 8, 4, 2, and 1Gig; and SONET/SDN OC-192 and OC-48.
