The Lantronix SGETF1039-110-NA is a stand-alone Gigabit Ethernet media converter for integrating fiber optic cabling into 1000Base-T copper environments. It provides an interface between 1000Base-T ports and 1000Base-SX ports with an LC multimode fiber connection. The SGETF Series operates at Layer 1, the physical layer. Data is passed through the converter at line speed for applications where low latency is essential. This model supports 1000Base-SX 850nm multimode fiber via TN-SFP-SX. The Lantronix part table lists 220 m/722 ft. over 62.5/125 µm fiber and 550 m/1804 ft. over 50/125 µm fiber. Series features include Auto-MDI/MDIX, Copper & Fiber Auto-Negotiation, Transparent Link Pass Through, Automatic Link Restoration, Pause, and Remote Fault Detect.
