Lantronix X303F202S — X300 Series Worldwide LTE-M Gateway with 1-Year Percepxion

The Lantronix X303F202S is a compact, industrial-grade IoT gateway for connecting serial equipment, sensors and small networks over LTE-M. It is the worldwide LTE Cat M1 model of the X300 Series, with 2G fallback, and is suited to industrial automation, remote asset management, digital signage, SCADA and PLC connectivity, and BLE sensor gateways. It ships with antennas and a power supply, plus 1 year of the Percepxion IoT Edge solution platform and LEVEL 2 Technical Services. The gateway packs multiple interfaces into a 79 x 79 x 23.5 mm brushed aluminum housing weighing about 150 grams. A software-switchable serial port supports 6-signal RS-232 or half/full duplex RS-485 over RJ-45, and a 10/100BASE-T Ethernet LAN port handles local devices. Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth/BLE 5.0 share one RP-SMA antenna connector; Wi-Fi works as a client or as an access point for approximately 12 users. Ethernet, cellular and Wi-Fi can be configured for failover or load balancing. Security is handled by Lantronix InfiniShield, with a secure element chip, secure boot, zone-based firewall, VLAN, DMZ and SIM PIN. VPN options include WireGuard, ZeroTier, OpenVPN client/server/passthrough, PPTP client, L2TP, GRE and IPsec with up to 4 channels. The Linux-based ePACK software suite, SDK and ImageBuilder let you run your own edge applications, and serial and Bluetooth SPP to network tunnels are available as installable packages. Percepxion provides centralized, zero-touch provisioning, configuration pushes and firmware upgrades across one to thousands of sites. The gateway runs on 9 to 30 V DC, operates from -30°C to +70°C, and is covered by a Lantronix limited lifetime warranty.
