The Lantronix CRS2F Series converts serial RS-232 copper connections to fiber. CRS2F3113-100 is the DB-9 [15 m/49 ft.] to 1300nm multimode (SC) [2 km/1.2 mi.] configuration with an 11.0 dB link budget. The module supports full or half-duplex asynchronous transmission at speeds up to 115 Kbps and transmits the full complement of RS-232 flow control/handshaking signals optically. Management features include read/write access to a remote stand-alone unit, Local or Remote Loopback on copper and fiber, Local/Remote DTE/DCE mode and local fiber link status reporting to chassis management software. The module can be used with any Point System™ Chassis.
