Lantronix CRS2F3114-100 is a CRS2F Series Point System™ RS232 copper-to-fiber media converter module. This configuration connects DB-9 [15 m/49 ft.] to 1310nm single mode (SC) fiber [20 km/12.4 mi.] with a 16.0 dB link budget. The CRS2F Series transmits the full complement of RS232 flow control and handshaking signals optically. It supports full or half-duplex asynchronous data transmission at speeds up to 115 Kbps. Management features include read/write access to a remote stand-alone unit, Local or Remote Loopback on copper and fiber, Local/Remote DTE/DCE mode and Local/Remote link status. The module can be used with any Point System™ Chassis.
