Lantronix F-SM-MM-02 is a stand-alone fiber-to-fiber media converter for data rates from 100 Mbps to 155 Mbps. It converts 1300nm multimode (SC) to 1310nm single mode (SC). The listed distances are 2 km/1.2 mi. on multimode and 20 km/12.4 mi. on single mode. The converter supports Link Pass Through and Automatic Link Restoration. Front-panel status LEDs indicate external AC power, multimode link, and single mode link. F-SM-MM-02 uses an external AC/DC power supply and is specified for 3.1 Watts power consumption. It operates from 0°C to 50°C with 5% to 95% non-condensing humidity.
