Lantronix M/E-TX-FX-01 is an M/E-TX Series mini Fast Ethernet media converter for integrating fiber optic cabling into copper-rich Fast Ethernet environments. It converts 100Base-TX (RJ-45) to 100Base-FX 1300nm multimode fiber with an ST connector. This SKU lists 100m/328 ft. copper distance, 2km/1.2mi. fiber distance, and an 11.0db link budget. The M/E-TX Series supports 100 Mbps data rate and IEEE 802.3u, 100Base-TX, and 100Base-FX standards. The mini converter uses a Low-Latency Layer 1 Design and can be used in pairs or as a single unit. Unit and port LEDs provide quick status information, and the small size is 65% smaller than a standard media converter.
