The Lantronix M/E-TX-FX-01(SC)-NA is a Mini Fast Ethernet media converter in the M/E-TX Series. It provides media conversion between 100Base-TX ports and 100Base-FX ports. This SKU connects 100Base-TX (RJ-45) [100m/328 ft.] to 100Base-FX 1300nm multimode (SC) [2km/1.2mi.] with an 11.0db link budget. The mini converter can be used in pairs or as a single unit to add fiber optic cabling to copper-rich Fast Ethernet environments. Its Low-Latency Layer 1 Design retransmits Fast Ethernet signals without store-and-forward packet inspection delays. Unit and port LEDs provide quick status information, with Auto-Negotiation and Auto-MDI/MDIX included.
