The Lantronix M/GE-T-SFP-01-NA is a Mini Gigabit Ethernet Media Converter for 1000Base-T to 1000Base-SX/LX conversion. It connects a copper Gigabit Ethernet port to an SFP-based fiber link in a compact stand-alone format. The M/GE-T Series supports Auto-Negotiation, Auto-MDI/MDIX, Automatic Link Restoration and Fiber Link Pass Through. Status LEDs show power, fiber link/activity and copper link/activity. Lantronix lists the unit as 65% smaller than a standard media converter. It supports standalone, rack-mountable, DIN rail mountable and wall mountable installation formats, with external AC/DC power required.
