The Lantronix S6120-1014 is an S6120 Series stand-alone DS1 – T1/E1/J1 Network Interface Device for extending multiple DS1 – T1/E1/J1 connections and a 10/100 Ethernet connection over fiber. This model provides 1310nm single mode SC fiber with a 20 km/12.4 mi. reach and a 16.0 dB link budget. It connects to (4) RJ-48 interfaces rated to 1.5 km/0.9 mi. and a 10/100Base-TX RJ-45 Ethernet interface rated to 100m. The S6120 includes local and remote loopbacks, status LEDs, settings for line code, line build out, loopbacks and Alarm Indication Signal (AIS), remote firmware upgrade and remote management. The S6120 converter must be used in pairs.
