The Lantronix S6210 Series is a managed stand-alone media converter for users that need to extend DS3-T3/E3 connections over fiber. S6210-3014 provides (2) Coax (BNC) to 1310nm single mode (SC)[20 km/12.4 mi.] with a 16.0 dB link budget. The converter is switch selectable for DS3/T3 or E3. It supports AIS, coax line build out, remote firmware upgrade, loopback on coax and fiber, and LEDs for immediate visual status. S6210 DS3-T3/E3 converters must be used in pairs. Management of a stand-alone converter is supported in-band over the fiber when the remote S6210 is linked to a C6210 card installed in a managed ION chassis.
