Lantronix Pots to SFP Media Converter

The Lantronix S6310-3340 is a stand-alone media converter that provides an interface between a twisted pair RJ-11 port and a fiber port. It connects central-office voice grade signals to distant Plain Old Telephone equipment using standard telephone signaling. Two units are required to implement an end to end system. One unit connects to a telephone line or PBX in FXO Mode, while the reciprocal unit acts as a Central Office and connects to a telephone device in FXS Mode. The S6310-3340 supports ringing at the distant end, Caller ID, configurable worldwide country formats and Automatic Ring Down when both converters are configured to FXS Mode. The SFP slot is empty and the product uses Gigabit Ethernet SFP Modules.
