The Lantronix SBFTF Series provides stand-alone Fast Ethernet media and rate conversion between 10/100Base-TX ports and 100Base-FX ports. This SBFTF1011-105-EU configuration is listed with 1 x Network (RJ-45) port and 1 x ST port for multi-mode fiber. The converter supports Auto-Negotiation, Auto-MDI/MDIX, Link Pass Through, Far-End-Fault (FEF) Detection and Automatic Link Restoration. It supports 10 Mbps or 100 Mbps on the TP port and half- or full-duplex operation on all ports including fiber. Use it where an existing Fast Ethernet copper connection must interface with 100Base-FX multi-mode fiber without changing the link type at the endpoint.
