Lantronix SGETF Series 1000Base-T to 1000Base-SX SC Media Converter

Lantronix SGETF1013-110-NA is a SGETF Series stand-alone Gigabit Ethernet media converter for 1000Base-T (RJ-45) to 1000Base-SX 850nm multimode fiber (SC). It provides an interface between copper Gigabit Ethernet ports and fiber optic cabling in 1000Base-T environments. The SGETF Series operates at Layer 1, the physical layer, and passes data through the converter at line speed for applications where low latency is essential. This model supports 62.5/125 µm fiber to 220 m/722 ft. and 50/125 µm fiber to 550 m/1804 ft., with a 7.0 dB link budget for each listed fiber type. Operational controls include Auto-MDI/MDIX, Copper & Fiber Auto-Negotiation, Transparent Link Pass Through, Automatic Link Restoration, Pause, Remote Fault Detect, and a 6-position switch for link and loopback functions.
