The Lantronix SGETF Series is a stand-alone media converter that provides an interface between 1000Base-T ports and 1000Base-SX/LX ports. This SKU is the SGETF1040-110-NA configuration: 1000Base-T (RJ-45) [100 m/328 ft.] to an empty SFP slot. Operating at Layer 1, the physical layer, data is passed through the converter at line speed. The SGETF Series includes Auto-MDI/MDIX, Copper & Fiber Auto-Negotiation, Transparent Link Pass Through, Automatic Link Restoration, Pause and Remote Fault Detect. The stand-alone enclosure measures 3.25” [82.55 mm] x 4.8” [121.92 mm] x 1″ [25 mm]. It requires an external AC/DC power supply with 12 VDC, 0.8A min Output and 120-240VAC input.
