The Lantronix SGETF1039-110 is a stand-alone Gigabit Ethernet media converter in the SGETF Series. It provides an interface between 1000Base-T RJ-45 copper and 1000Base-SX 850nm multimode LC fiber via TN-SFP-SX. The converter operates at Layer 1, the physical layer. Data is passed through at line speed, making it suitable for applications where low latency is essential. This SKU is listed for 100 m/328 ft. on the copper side, 220 m/722 ft. on 62.5/125 µm fiber, and 550 m/1804 ft. on 50/125 µm fiber. Built-in controls include Transparent Link Pass Through, Remote Fault Detect, Fiber Auto-Negotiation and loopback settings.
