The Lantronix SGPAT Series connects 10/100/1000Base-T copper devices to 100/1000Base-SX/LX Gigabit Ethernet fiber while injecting PoE power through the copper RJ-45 port. SGPAT1040-105-FNA is a 2-port media converter with a PoE+ RJ-45 port and an open SFP slot. The SFP slot can support 100Base-FX, 1000Base-X, or SGMII based MSA compliant SFP modules, with fiber mode depending on the installed SFP module. As a Power Sourcing Equipment device, it combines data received over a fiber optic link with 56VDC input power to provide power and data to a Powered Device over twisted pair cabling. Active Link Pass Through, Auto-Negotiation, Auto-MDI/MDIX, Remote Fault Detection, and status LEDs support practical edge deployment and troubleshooting.
