The Lantronix C6210-3013 is an ION C6210 Series managed media converter module for extending DS3-T3/E3 connections over fiber. This SKU provides (2) Coax (BNC) to 1300nm multimode (SC) with 2 km/ 1.2 mi. distance and an 11.0 dB link budget. The C6210 Series supports switch selectable DS3/T3 or E3 operation, AIS (Alarm Indication Signal), Coax Line Build Out, and Loopback – Coax and Fiber. Status LEDs provide immediate visual status for power, coax link, loopback, AIS, fiber link, and fiber loopback. C6210 DS3-T3/E3 converters must be used in pairs. A typical installation includes a modular card in a managed ION chassis linked over fiber to a stand-alone S6210 in a remote location.
