Lantronix E-100BTX-FX-06(LC) is a stand-alone Fast Ethernet media converter for 100Base-TX copper to 100Base-FX fiber conversion. This configuration uses an RJ-45 copper interface and a 1300nm multimode LC fiber interface. The converter allows users to integrate fiber optic cabling into 100Base-TX copper environments. It can be used in pairs or as a single unit. Operating at Layer 1, the physical layer, data is passed through the converter at line speed. The E-100BTX Series includes Auto-negotiation, Auto-MDI/MDIX, active link pass through, Far-End-Fault (FEF), Pause and automatic link restoration.
