Lantronix EDS2100 w/ Linux is a two-port, secure device server in the EDS1100 / EDS2100 series. It provides remote access to and management of IT/networking equipment or edge devices such as medical equipment, POS terminals or security equipment. It connects serial-port devices to a 10BaseT and 100Base-TX Link network through 2 x DB9M (DTE) serial connectors. Serial modes are software selectable RS232, RS422 or RS485, with 2- and 4-wire configurations supported. Security and management include SSL v3, SSH v2 Client & Server, selectable 128/256/512/1024 Bit certificates, AES, 3DES, RC4, SHA-1, MD5, and Base-64 User Access Lists. Management options include Internal Web Manager, CLI, XML Configuration Records, DeviceInstaller software, and SNMP. This SKU is the EDS2100 w/ Linux configuration and includes a 100-240 VAC International Power Supply.
