Lantronix EDS3000PS EDS3008PS1NS is the 8-port SKU in the EDS3000PS family. It combines eight RJ45 serial ports with 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet in a compact office grade hybrid Ethernet terminal/multi serial port device server. The EDS3000PS supports remote access and management for IT/networking equipment and edge devices. Lantronix identifies medical equipment, POS terminals and security equipment as target device examples. Security and management are built into the platform with SSL/TLS, AES, SSH, password protection, IP address filtering, Lantronix Provisioning Manager, ConsoleFlow, ComPort Redirector™ and Secure ComPort Redirector. Firmware is upgradeable via the Web Manager, FTP or serial port.
