Lantronix EDS5008 is an EDS5000 Series Ethernet-to-serial device server with 8 total serial device management ports. It connects serial-based equipment to Ethernet through a combo 10/100/1000 Mbps copper or 100/1000 Mbps SFP port. The EDS5000 Series supports RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485, with serial data rates from 2400 to 921.6K Baud. The EDS5008 port mix includes (4) RS-232/422/485 software selectable RJ-45 serial ports and (4) RS-232 only RJ-45 serial ports. Management options include an internal web server, SNMP v1/v2/v3, Serial Login, Telnet SSH login, XML, Lantronix Provisioning Manager and Percepxion™. Firmware is upgradeable through Web Manager, Lantronix Provisioning Manager or Percepxion. The unit supports AC input, DC input or both, operates from -10° to 60° C (14° to 140° F), and fits a 1RU rack mount or desktop mount design.
