Lantronix EDS-MD EDSOR08P-01 is an 8-port wired IoT gateway for mission critical medical devices and equipment connectivity. It connects medical devices with serial interfaces to the network using RS-232 and Gigabit Ethernet. EDS-MD is specifically designed for the medical industry. UL and IEC-60601 compliance provides galvanic port isolation to protect connected medical devices, and the platform is built for local or remote access to medical assets and data. Management options include Percepxion, Web Browser, CLI, and XML Configuration Records. Secure Com Port Redirector™ virtualization software lets existing serial port applications work with EDS-MD without code modifications by mapping virtual COM ports to EDS-MD. The unit supports SSLv3, TLS1.0, TLS1.1 Client and Server with up to 4096-bit certificates, AES encryption, and SHA-1, MD5, and Base-64 authentication.
