Lantronix EMG8500 Edge Management Gateway 4-Port USB

The Lantronix EMG 8500 Edge Management Gateway is an out-of-band solution for branch offices, remote locations, retail stores and other offsite network device gateway deployments where space is limited. EMG852000S is the USB 4-port configuration. The EMG 8500 provides remote access for Lights Out Management, helping administrators connect, monitor, manage and repair systems without requiring onsite personnel. Its modular design allows RJ45 serial, Ethernet and/or USB device ports to be added to existing and new infrastructure equipment. The platform includes an automatic fail-over/fail-back mechanism for primary network connections that are congested or unresponsive. Users can access EMG device ports via Telnet/SSH or a web browser-based console client, and the system includes firewall features and NIST-certified AES encryption.
