Lantronix ION106-AAB-NA is a 6-slot chassis for ION slide-in modules. This AC bundle includes two installed power supplies and a -NA power cord in a 1U rack-mountable form factor. The chassis gives teams a modular Lantronix ION platform for installed slide-in modules. Etilize identifies the product as a media converter chassis and lists it as TAA compliant. Lantronix states that an ION Management Module is required to take full advantage of the features and functions available with the ION Chassis. With an ION Management Module, a network administrator can configure, monitor and troubleshoot ION slide-in modules remotely, while only management traffic is sent across the ION Chassis backplane.
