Lantronix ION106 Series 6-Slot Chassis with DC Power Supply

The Lantronix ION106-D is a 6-slot ION Chassis with (1) DC power supply. It provides a rack-mountable platform for ION slide-in modules in service provider, data center and core network applications. The ION Platform accommodates a variety of modules and interface devices supporting multiple protocols and networking environments, including Ethernet and TDM networks. It is designed for integrating copper and fiber equipment with infrastructure. To take full advantage of the chassis features and functions, an ION Management Module is required. The management module communicates with individual cards in the chassis so a network administrator can configure, monitor and troubleshoot ION slide-in modules remotely. Only one power supply module is required to power the chassis and installed modules. An optional second power supply module provides redundancy for instant fail-over.
