The Lantronix SBFTF Series is a stand-alone Fast Ethernet media and rate converter for 10/100Base-TX to 100Base-FX networks. It provides an interface between copper Ethernet ports and fiber optic cabling. SBFTF1013-105-NA pairs 1 x Network (RJ-45) with 1 x SC Ports for multimode fiber. It supports Fast Ethernet operation, Auto-Negotiation, Auto-MDI/MDIX, Link Pass Through, and Far-End-Fault (FEF) Detection. Operational details include 10 Mbps or 100 Mbps on the TP port, half or full-duplex on all ports including fiber, 1K MAC addresses, and a 512 KB RAM buffer. The maximum distance supported is 2 km.

Ideal For

  • Integrating fiber optic cabling with 10/100Base-TX ports
