Lantronix SDSTX3110-124-LRT-B is a hardened serial device server that communicates serial data across an Ethernet network. It combines (4) RS-232/422/485 DB9 serial ports with (2) 10/100Base-TX Fast Ethernet ports. The device supports Virtual Com, Serial Tunnel, TCP Server, TCP Client, and UDP operating modes. COM port redirector software enables serial data communication to a virtual COM port on a server, and paired units can provide serial tunneling across the Ethernet network. Security of data transmission is supported through SSL data encryption, with secured management by HTTPS and SSH. The unit is enclosed in an IP30 enclosure, accepts 12 to 48 VDC input voltage, and is certified to operate from -40°C to +70°C.
