The Lantronix SGPAT1040-105 is a stand-alone Fast & Gigabit Ethernet PoE / PoE+ media converter for 10/100/1000Base-T PoE+ RJ-45 [100 m/328 ft.] to 100/1000Base-X Open SFP Slot conversion. As a Power Sourcing Equipment device, the SGPAT media converter combines data received over a fiber optic link with 56VDC input power to provide power and data to a Powered Device over twisted pair cabling while complying with IEEE 802.3af PoE and IEEE 802.3at PoE+. The SGPAT Series supports Auto-Negotiation, Auto-MDI/MDIX, Active Link Pass Through, Remote Fault Detection, Jumbo frame support, Legacy PoE Detection, and IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet on twisted pair ports. Status LEDs show power status, per-port link, duplex, activity status, and PoE status. Installation options include wall mount, DIN Rail, or table top, and an external AC/DC power supply is included.
