Lantronix SGPAT1040-305 is an SGPAT Series stand-alone Fast & Gigabit Ethernet PoE / PoE+ media converter. This configuration connects (2) 10/100/1000Base-T PoE+ RJ-45 ports to (2) 100/1000Base-X open SFP slots. As a Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) device, the SGPAT media converter combines data received over a fiber optic link with 56VDC input power to provide power and data to a Powered Device (PD) over twisted pair cabling. It complies with IEEE 802.3af PoE and IEEE 802.3at PoE+. The 4-port version can be configured as a 4-port switch, with or without redundant fiber, or as two independent PoE+ media converters in one housing. It supports Auto-Negotiation, Auto-MDI/MDIX, Active Link Pass Through (ALPT), Remote Fault Detection, jumbo frames, dip switch control, and CLI access through an RJ-45 serial port.
