Lantronix SPOEB Series LC PoE Media Converter

Lantronix SPOEB Series is a stand-alone Fast Ethernet PoE media converter for 10/100Base-TX PoE PSE to 100Base-FX conversion. This SKU provides a fixed 100Base-FX 1300nm multimode LC fiber interface with a listed 2 km/1.2 mi. reach. The converter combines data received over a fiber optic link with -48 VDC power, providing power to Data Terminal Equipment Power Devices over unshielded twisted pair cable. It is IEEE 802.3af compatible and includes PD signature sensing and power monitoring features per the IEEE 802.3af standard. SPOEB Series features include Over-Current Protection, Under-Current Detection, Fault Protection Input, Minimum Load Sensing, Link Pass Through, Far-End-Fault, and Automatic Link Restoration. With the PSE/LPT switch enabled, loss of Fiber RX disables PSE power output on the UTP port for 2 seconds to allow the remote device to re-initialize.
