Lantronix UDS1100 is a single-port external device server for connecting, managing and controlling equipment with a serial port over Ethernet or the Internet. This SKU includes a 100-240 VAC International power supply with regional adapters. The UDS1100 supports RS232, RS422 and RS485 communications through 1 DB25F DCE serial port and connects to the network through a 10Base-T/100Base-TX RJ45 Ethernet port. Using serial tunneling, it encapsulates serial data into packets and transports it over Ethernet. Setup can be done locally through the serial port or remotely using Telnet or a web browser. Lantronix DeviceInstaller software, Com Port Redirector software and TruPort® Com port control technology support configuration and Windows-based serial applications.
