Lantronix XPort SE adds serial-to-Ethernet connectivity and control to products with serial capability. XP1002000-05R is the XPort -05 SKU described by Lantronix as RoHS Extended Temperature, with Encryption, in a minimum quantity of 50 units. XPort places the required hardware and software inside a patented RJ45 package. It includes a 10Base-T/100Base-TX Ethernet connection, a full TCP/IP protocol stack, an embedded web server, e-mail alerts, and 256-bit AES encryption for secure communications. The module is powered by the DSTni network processor SoC, which includes a 10/100 MAC/PHY and 256 KB of SRAM. Its web capability can be used for remote configuration, real-time monitoring, or troubleshooting. Included Lantronix tools support firmware loading, IP and network address assignment, custom web pages, web-based configuration, ping or query of attached devices, and Telnet communication with attached devices.
