Overview
About the Lantronix NTC-140 Series
The NTC-140 Series (also written NTC140) is in Last Time Buy status, and Lantronix has published a product discontinuation notice; no direct successor is named on the product page. The router provides cellular WAN connectivity for machines, vehicles and remote sites, combining a rugged enclosure, a wide operating temperature range, wall-mount options and a flexible range of input power options for harsh industrial environments.
Cellular connectivity covers 4G LTE at up to 100 Mbps down and 50 Mbps up, 3G DC-HSPA+ and 1xEV-DO Rel. A at up to 42 Mbps and 5.76 Mbps, and 2G EDGE. Two Gigabit Ethernet ports and a USB-OTG port for extra interfaces or storage give networking flexibility, and any interface can be configured as the WAN for business continuity designs. The NTC-140-02 adds integrated standalone GPS for asset tracking.
For vehicle installs, the router is tested to IEC Class 5M2, MIL-STD-810 method 516.5 and ISO 7637-2. Ignition sense provides graceful startup and shutdown with the vehicle, and a configurable power save mode minimizes current draw in sleep. Lantronix provides a series user guide, a quick start guide and a dedicated NTC-140-02 user guide for configuration.
