The SISTG1040-242-LRT (also searched as SISTG1040-242) connects a handful of Gigabit devices at the edge of a hardened network without PoE or configuration. Four 10/100/1000Base-T ports serve PLCs, controllers, cameras with their own power or other Ethernet equipment, while two 100/1000 dual-speed SFP slots carry traffic over fiber or daisy-chain several switches for reliability.
Power flexibility is the key difference from PoE models. The redundant input accepts +12 to +48 VDC or -12 to -48 VDC with reverse power protection, and the switch draws only 4.4 W, so it runs from the same low-voltage supply as nearby control equipment. The fanless IP30 metal enclosure operates from -40°C to +75°C and carries UL Class 1 Division 2, CE, FCC Part 15 and IEC62368-1 certifications.
