About the Lantronix xPico 600
The xPico 600 (also written xPico600, part prefix XPC600) is a new Lantronix connectivity module for OEMs building connected equipment such as robots, AGVs, autonomous systems and network printers. Its hostless architecture means it does not need an external host MCU: it can run as a network co-processor that offloads all IoT communications from your microcontroller, or as a wireless microcontroller programmed through the Lantronix SDK. Either way, Wi-Fi, Ethernet and BLE come up without writing low-level drivers.
The radio is 1x1, 20 MHz, dual-band 2.4 and 5 GHz 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax with 802.11r fast roaming and concurrent Soft AP plus client mode. Two separate antennas let Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.4 LE run independently. An integrated 10/100BASE-T PHY needs only external magnetics. Host interfaces include a TTL UART at 9600 bps to 4 Mbps, USB host and 12 programmable I/O pins. TruPort Serial and TruPort Socket handle TCP, UDP and TLS connections, and a Modbus TCP to Modbus RTU/ASCII gateway is built in.
InfiniShield security provides secure boot, secure FOTA updates, secure key storage, encrypted configuration, role-based access control and WPA3 Enterprise. The module is pre-integrated with Lantronix Percepxion for zero-touch provisioning, device updates and Cyber Resilience Act support across the product lifecycle. It operates from -40 to +85 C and withstands 40G operational vibration.

- Serial and Modbus gateway
- TruPort Serial passes proprietary serial and Fieldbus protocols transparently, and a built-in Modbus TCP to Modbus RTU/ASCII gateway bridges legacy controllers.
How to choose the right xPico 600 part number
Every xPico 600 part has the same radio and interface set; the differences are form factor and packaging. The 100 parts are LGA modules: XPC600100P is a sample and XPC600100S ships on tape and reel in 500s. The 300 parts are M.2 3030 E-Key cards: XPC600300P is a sample and XPC600300S ships on tray. Both carry the same Wi-Fi 6, BLE 5.4, Ethernet and host interfaces. The LGA version (XPC600100) is an 18 x 28.5 x 3.15 mm surface-mount module on tape and reel. The M.2 version (XPC600300) is a 3030 E-Key card shipped on tray, suited to socketed designs.
