The Lantronix C3210-1013 is an ION C3210 Series media converter module for integrating fiber optic cabling into 10/100/1000 copper environments. This SKU provides 10/100/1000Base-T RJ-45 copper to 1000Base-SX 850nm multimode SC fiber conversion. Operating at Layer 2, the module converts copper to fiber and provides rate conversion for legacy 10/100 copper devices connecting to 1000Base-SX/LX fiber. The ION C3210 is manageable when installed in a managed ION chassis and can be used in any ION Platform Chassis. Features include Copper and Fiber Auto-Negotiation, Switch Selectable Speeds, Auto-MDI/MDIX, Link Pass Through, Remote Fault Detect, and Field Upgradeable Firmware.
