Lantronix ION219 Chassis 19-Slot ION

The Lantronix ION219 is an intelligent, high-density, multi-protocol chassis for the ION Platform. It supports a variety of network interface devices for carrier class and enterprise network applications where multiple points of fiber integration and secure network management of fiber interface devices are required. ION219-AAMB includes the 19-slot chassis, (2) AC power supplies and (1) ION Management Module. The chassis is designed for ION slide-in modules, and the management module connects to the chassis backplane to communicate with the individual cards. A network administrator can configure, monitor and troubleshoot ION slide-in modules remotely through the ION Management Module. To maintain data security, only management traffic, no end-user data traffic, is sent across the ION Chassis backplane.
